NO TIME TO WASTE — for IKEA
NO TIME TO WASTE is an artwork commissioned by IKEA ITALIA, to give a new life to products found at their Circular Hub: a slow design process without waste. A cozy hammock made repurposing a woven carpet through essential folds, seams, and no cuts, thus respecting the original product and generating zero waste. The delicate hand-embroidered words ironically reject passivity: an invitation to reflect on the pressing environmental issue, and to take immediate action by changing habits, despite comfort.
